I’m a UK-based interaction designer, web and iOS developer, and maker of things.
My background includes public-service design with the Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs, helping people find information about flooding. I also work on independent products and digital projects through North East Digital.
I also make YouTube videos for VV Insider, sharing news, practical advice and my experiences with Virgin Voyages.
I enjoy the whole process: understanding what people need, shaping a clear experience, building the software and improving it as it gets used. My work spans interfaces, content, data and the less visible systems that keep a product running.
I care about accessibility, clear language and the details that make a service feel straightforward. The aim is always to give people something useful that feels easy to use.
